Why are you interested in serving on a board or committee?
I think my background and experience would be beneficial to advising Winter Springs on
future growth and development. Growing up in the development industry in one of the
strictest counties in Florida (Protected federal preserve National Key Deer Refuge and the
National Marine sanctuary, and the highest regulated building code in Florida) I have a
unique sense of duty to responsible growth and development with a focus on code
compliance for zoning and Future land use changes aligning with the growth and wild land
protection.
Briefly state any specialized knowledge or prior experience you have that
would be useful in assisting the board or committee in accomplishing its
purpose.
Professional Land Surveyor - 20+ years of experience in public and private as both a
contractor (multiple counties state wide)and a reviewer of plats for the city of marathon.
Served on the board for FIRM - a group citizens that pushed back on the FEMA flood map
updates in 2018 in Monroe County, FL.
