I have seen some challenges that the City is having and I feel it is better to be part of the solution than it is to complain from the sidelines. Having 25 years of experience in common interest real estate management, I feel that experience might be of value to the committees I applied to. Briefly state any specialized knowledge or prior experience you have that would be useful in assisting the board or committee in accomplishing its purpose. With regards to the beautification committees, I have many years of experience creating RFQ's, RFP's, Bid Analysis summaries for large scale communities. and resorts in Central Florida. Some of these projects include Latitude Margaritaville, Daytona, Hilton Head and Watersound, Del Webb Orlando, Independence & Summerlake in Winter Garden etc. Part of my professional job is to be familiar with landscape, hardscape and beautification best practices and pricing. I am also familiar with service providers in our region. I have experience serving on and facilitating code enforcement committees at largescale HOA's/Condo level, all governed by Florida Statutes 718 and 720; I believe the awareness of governmental procedures and listening to people is a transferable skillset to the Code Enforcement committee.
