Interest & Experiences
Why are you interested in serving on a board or committee?
I grew up in Winter Springs, having moved here from Tennessee with my family as a child. I
love this city and consider it my hometown; I'm blessed to live and work in such a great
community. As a financial advisor, my practice is here in Winter Springs as are many of the
clients I serve. It would be a great honor to serve the city as a member of the Board of
Trustees.
Briefly state any specialized knowledge or prior experience you have that
would be useful in assisting the board or committee in accomplishing its
purpose.
Given my decade of professional background working in institutional finance at JPMorgan
after graduating from UCF, and my current role as a financial advisor with Edward Jones, I
feel my perspective is unique and would be very valuable to the Board of Trustees. I have
worked on large defined benefit and defined contribution plans, and have also worked with
many families here in the community on their individual investment plans. My ability to both
understand the mechanics of plan design, and the nuance of the impact on plan participants
makes me a great candidate for this position.
Briefly state any experience you have in serving on any governmental board
or committee.
I have no prior experience serving on any governmental board or committee, however I am
passionate about serving our community and feel I can be a valuable addition to the Board of
Trustees.
