TITLE
Oak Forest Sidewalk Project - Sidewalk Improvements
SUMMARY
Staff have conducted a thorough field inspection and subsequently coordinated a
proposal for the replacement of damaged and non-compliant sidewalks within the Oak
Forest Subdivision. The proposed sidewalk improvements are part of an overall,
ongoing initiative to improve the Citywide Sidewalk System in compliance with current
design standards and related 1990 American with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.
FUNDING SOURCE
The funding source for this sidewalk improvement project is provided by the
Transportation Improvement Fund CIP - Sidewalks. The $230,390.02 task order fee
proposal is derived from the City's piggyback rider agreement with Huffman, Inc., DBA
NuWave Concrete and their original agreement with Seminole County, Florida (IFB-
604269-22/LNF).
RECOMMENDATION
Staff requests City Commission approval of a Task Order for Huffman, Inc., DBA
NuWave Concrete to provide sidewalk repair and replacement services located within
the Oak Forest Subdivision in the amount of $230,390.02.
