Several respondents were in attendance.
The meeting of the Advisory Selection Committee for the “Landscape Maintenance
Services” RFP 07-19 KM for the City of Winter Springs, Florida” was called to order at
10:03 am.
Committee Member Aneta Barton introduced RFP 07-19 KM and members of the
Committee:
Mr. Brian Dunigan, Parks Manager, Parks and Recreation Department
Mr. Kevin Maddox, Landscape Manager, Urban Beautification Division, IT &
Administrative Services Department
Ms. Aneta Barton, Compliance Office, Finance Department
Committee Member Barton explained the scoring breakdown saying, “There are three
(3) different parts of the scoring. The first one is the base maintenance cost for
packages, this one is up to 50 points. The second part was relevant experience for the
package, it’s up to 30 points. The rising schedule for addition services, up to 20 points.”

Ms. Holly Queen, City Controller, Finance Department collected the vendor sheets and
explained the number announced will be the total score out of three hundred (300)
for each contractor.

Committee Member Barton mentioned the tabulation form would be posted on the
website. Committee Member Barton and City Manager Shawn Boyle explained the
next steps for the RFP, noting they will be brought to the City Commission on
November 18, 2019. City Manager Boyle included for the respondents present, “The
Commission can do several different things, they can accept our recommendations
and award them as we recommended, they could change the recommendations, or
they could reject it and make us go back out to bid.”
City Manager Boyle thanked everyone for attending and Committee Member Barton
adjourned the meeting at 10:41 am
