Defund Elected Official's Tuition for Leadership Seminole
SUMMARY
Commissioner Diaz has requested the addition of this item to amend the proposed
budget to prohibit taxpayer-funded attendance to Leadership Seminole for elected
officials. This proposal does not impact staff's ability to attend as a professional
development expense and opportunity.
FUNDING SOURCE
The Proposed Budget includes $4,000 for one elected official to attend Leadership
Seminole in G/L 001-12-1100-555540 Dues/Reg/Pub
RECOMMENDATION
Discuss Commissioner Diaz's proposal and take whatever action the Commission
deems pertinent.
