FOR HIS 33 YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE AS AN EMPLOYEE OF THE CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS,
AND EXPRESSING OUR APPRECIATION ON BEHALF OF THE CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF WINTER
SPRINGS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Whereas, Captain Doug Seely has provided the residents of the City of Winter Springs with over 30 years of
exceptional, dedicated, and distinguished service since joining the Police Department in April 1991; and
Whereas, Captain Seely has worked in every Bureau of the Winter Springs Police Department and has served on
the SWAT team, Honor Guard, Bike Unit, and more.; and
Whereas, Captain Seely served this City with distinction and honor for 33 years and will retire from service with
the City of Winter Springs on August 7, 2024.
Now therefore, be it Resolved by the City Commission of the City of Winter Springs, Florida
as follows:
Section I -Upon the occasion of Captain Doug Seely's retirement, the Mayor and Commission, City Manager, and
City Staff, wish to recognize and honor him for his excellent level of distinguished service to the residents of Winter
Springs through his 33 years of exemplary service.
Section II -That the Resolution commending the services of Captain Seely be recorded upon the official Public
Records and Minutes of the City Commission of the City of Winter Springs, Florida_
Section III -That a copy of the Resolution be forwarded to Captain Seely with our sincerest and heartfelt thanks and
appreciation for his numerous and valued important contributions.

CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA IN A REGULAR MEETING
