Home My WebLink About2023 02 27 Consent 304 - Shore Road Restoration • CONSENT AGENDA ITEM 304 ,n m=ared CITY COMMISSION AGENDA I FEBRUARY 27, 2023 REGULAR MEETING 1959 TITLE Shore Road Restoration SUMMARY Due to severe flooding resulting from Hurricane Ian staging of Gee Creek exceeded higher than normal elevations thus overtopping Shore Road at the Gee Creek crossing. The overtopping caused severe degradation of the Shore Road roadway facility making the roadway impassable to while leaving exposed water and gas lines. Under the City's current State of Emergency City staff requests the Commission's approval of the proposed roadway improvements in order to restore the roadway facility to its pre-hurricane condition. Cost for the full restoration is $198,342.01 .
