These members have and continue to display the highest standards, teamwork, and integrity to honor the police department's mission. Often we are called upon to assist the Fire Department with medical assistance as we can arrive on the scene first. Especially in life-saving situations. On December 4, 2022, Officer Saccente was dispatched to a medical call, where she jumped into action and administered life-saving measures with CPR. She maintained these measures until relieved by the Fire Department. The outcome could have been much worse if it was not for her actions. Thirty-Five minutes later, and a mile or so away, Officer Lynn Saccente and Officer Andrew Jones were saving another life. Both of these officers were dispatched to another one of these medical calls. This time, for an unresponsive male. Both arrived and immediately assessed the situation. Seeing that the subject was in distress and needed immediate care, Officer Saccente and Jones worked as a team. They began life-saving measures with the administration of Naloxone and CPR. These two brought the subject back to life and maintained life-saving measures until relieved by Fire Rescue personnel. Perhaps the outcome would have changed if it were not for their quick efforts. For this, we recognize both officers with life-saving awards for their actions on December 4, 2022. Training a new officer can take anywhere between three and six months. Over the years, Field Traing Officers (FTO)s have passed on their knowledge to dozens of newly hired recruits. They have turned basic academy graduates into confident and highly trained officers. For this, we would like to acknowledge the FTO unit with a Unit Citation for their steadfast dedication 6 and desire to train and pass on their knowledge and experience. Their hard work and commitment have benefited the department's goals and mission over the past years. Officer R. Von Bargen Officer A.Jones Officer L. Saccente Officer C. Roland Officer J.
