Staff recommends, based upon the photo evidence and testimony presented, the
respondent of the referenced property be given no more than 120 days (o5/24/2024)
to come into compliance. In the event the property violation(s) are not corrected, a fine
of $250.00 per violation per day shall be imposed until compliance has been met.

violation of: IPMC 2006- 304.7 Roofs and Drainage

Maintenance Code 2006
304.7-The roof and flashing shall be sound, tight and not have defects
that admit rain. Roof drainage shall be adequate to prevent dampness or
deterioration in the walls or interior portion of the structure. Roof
drains, gutters and downspouts shall be maintained in good repair and
free from obstructions. Roof water shall not be discharged in a manner
that creates a public nuisance.

Case Summary
September 18, 2023 –While conducting a routine patrol of Arrowhead
community, the referenced property was observed with a blue tarp on
the roof of the property structure, which signifies a roof in a state
of disrepair. A permit search was completed and verified no active or
pending roof permit on file.
