TITLE
Award of RFP# 01-24-01 WS Executive Search Services
SUMMARY
On Monday January 22nd, 2024 The City Commission directed staff to prepare an
Request for Proposal for search firms for the purposes of filling the vacant City
Manager position. Proposals were Due March 01st, 2024 at 2:00pm; and were logged
in and electronic copies sent to Commission members for review and evaluation. The
City received four (4) proposals from: (1) ActOne; (2) Netsynk, Inc.; (3) S. Renee
Narloch & Associates; and (4) Slavin Management Consultants. Under Florida Law, the
sealed bids, proposals, or replies received by the City pursuant to this competitive
solicitation are exempt from public records disclosure until such time as the City
provides notice of an intended decision or until 30 days after opening the bids,
proposals, or final replies, whichever is earlier. The proposals were distributed to the
Mayor, City Commission, City Manager, and City Attorney under separate cover prior
to the meeting. The Mayor and Commission discussed the proposals at the March 11,
2024 Commission meeting and submitted their evaluation sheets to the City Clerk.
Scores have been tabulated and are attached to this agenda item. (Individual rankings
are attached as background as well).

Experience: Proposer's comprehension of the needs of the City as demonstrated by the description of its services, capabilities, capacity and
approach to the requirements listed in The Request for Proposal TOTAL: 60 Points
Proposer has an understanding of the public sector market and it's unique challenges, has established relationships that
allow it to identify key candidates who have the experience and capabilities to fulfill the City Manager role
