At the direction of the Commission, Korn Ferry has produced a first draft of a Candidate Interview Matrix. The matrix is divided into four (4) parts: Interest, Leadership, Staff, and Municipal Experience, and under each heading are suggested questions. Additional questions are also included for the Commission's consideration.K orn Ferry has advised that once the interview questions are approved that they are utilized consistently for all candidates. FUNDING SOURCE N/A RECOMMENDATION Staff is requesting the Commission review the attached first draft of the Candidate Interview Matrix provided by Korn Ferry and provide pertinent feedback for finalization and approval. 271 CANDIDATE INTERVIEW MATRIX- FIRST DRAFT City of Winter Springs City Manager 1st Round Interview Use the following scale to rank each candidate from 1 to 5: 1 = does not meet expectations 2 = slightly below expectations 3 = meets expectations 4 = slightly above expectations 5 = exceeds expectations Candidate Score Leadership Style Notes: Discuss your experience in building relationships across a wide variety of stakeholders and how you have successfully managed to gain trust and buy What do you think you bring to this job that others might not? Based on your current knowledge of Winter Springs, what would you say are its greatest opportunities and challenges. Do you have any ideas of how Interest and passion regarding City Manager of Winter Springs Briefly summarize your background with emphasis on the experiences and qualifications relevant to the City Manager of Winter Springs position. Where does your interest in this opportunity stem from? What have you learned about the community and what excites you to be the next City Manager? What examples can you provide that helped refine or change your management style over the years to become an effective leader?
