An ITB was sent out with all responses due on Friday July 28th at 2pm. Three responses were received. Accurate Power and Technology from Eustis, Florida submitted a Bid of $156,745.98. Shaffer Electrical Contracting of Sanford, Florida submitted a Bid of $167,591.00, and On Computer Services DBA Unified Power of Lake Mary, Florida submitted a Bid of $195,005.00. Accurate Power and Technology was the lowest and responsible bidder. In addition, a contingency of 20% is requested for unexpected increase in scope. 20% equates to $31,349.20. The Bid of $156,745.98 and the contingency of $31,349.20 brings the project total to $188,095.18. FUNDING SOURCE RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends accepting ITB #06-23-01 LH submitted by Accurate Power and Technology for the installation of the Pickleball Court Lights. Accurate Power and Technology submitted the lowest and responsible bid for $156,745.98. Funding will be obtained from the Perk Up Parks Fund. A contingency of 20% is requested for unexpected increases in scope. 20% equates to $31,349.20. Non-recoverable factors include optical system variations, and depreciation in initial luminaire lumen output.
