SUMMARY Ordinance 2022-04 would amend Section 20-323 of the City Code to amend the list of permitted uses in the Town Center District Code. The ordinance would change veterinary clinics from a conditional to a permitted use in the T4 and T5 Transects, provided that no overnight boarding or outdoor kennels shall be allowed except for indoor overnight boarding necessary for post- operation medical observation. Staff recommends approval of this change as being consistent with already-permitted uses in the T4 and T5 Transects, particularly including pet shops and grooming uses. In addition, the already-permitted use of"medical clinics and laboratories" would be amended to clarify that dental clinics are also permitted.
