TITLE
Resolution 2022-14 recognizing the retirement of Officer Terry Neisler from
the Police Department.
SUMMARY
Officer Terry Neisler began his career with the City of Winter Springs as a
Police Officer on January 8, 2009. Before that, Officer Neisler retired as a
Corporal for the Orange County Sheriffs' Office, where he was a Field Training
Officer and Narcotics Agent. During his career at Winter Springs, he has
contributed to the success of the police department, most notably his
dedication to our patrol division. In addition, Officer Neisler was an active
member of our ATV unit, a Field Training Officer, and a response member
who could deploy our Incident Command Center with little to no notice.
During his career, he has earned hundreds of hours of advanced and
specialized training, mentored and taught dozens of new trainee officers, and
established himself as a model ambassador for the WSPD. His compassion
and care for those he serves are unparalleled. Officer Neisler served this City
with distinction and honor for 13 years and will retire from service with the
City of Winter Springs on July 20, 2022. As is customary for long-tenured
employees who have retired from service with the City, the Commission has
desired to formally recognize them for their service via the presentation of a
Resolution designed for this purpose.
