Roll Call: Chairperson Arnie Nussbaum, present Vice-Chairperson Richard Lecky, present Committee Member Jim Van Kleunen, present Committee Member James Kennedy, present Committee Member Art Gallo, present Committee Member Andrew Zacharias, present via phone Committee Member Edgar Sanabria, present Assistant to the City Clerk Tristin Motter, present A moment of silence was held and was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. AWARDS AND PRESENTATIONS 100) Not Used INFORMATIONAL AGENDA 200) Not Used PUBLIC INPUT Chairperson Nussbaum opened "Public Input". No one addressed the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee. CONSENT AGENDA 300)Approval of the Tuesday, February 2, 2021 Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee Regular Meeting Minutes. Minutes "I MOVED TO APPROVE THE MINUTES FROM FEBRUARY." MOTION BY VICE-CHAIPERSON LECKY. SECONDED BY COMMITTEE MEMBER GALLO. DISCUSSION. VOTE: COMMITTEE MEMBER VAN KLEUNEN: AYE COMMITTEE MEMBER SANABRIA: AYE VICE-CHAIRPERSON LECKY: AYE COMMITTEE MEMBER GALLO: AYE COMMITTEE MEMBER ZACHARIAS: AYE CHAIRPERSON NUSSBAUM: AYE MOTION CARRIED. COMMITTEE MEMBER KENNEDY WAS MISSED WITHIN THE ROLL CALL THEREFORE DID NOT VOTE. PUBLIC HEARINGS AGENDA 400) Not Used REGULAR AGENDA 500)Parks Update Mr. Christopher Schmidt, Director, Community Development Department gave a brief Parks Master Plan update for the Committee. Questions were asked about dispersal of the results and the procedure was explained. Mr. Brian Dunigan, Parks Manager, Parks and Recreation Department shared a presentation that included recent projects the City has completed, upcoming projects and show some photos from recent CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS,FLORIDA MINUTES PARKS AN D RECREATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING-MAY 5,2021 PAGE 3OF3 event that took place in the City. Discussion ensued on the in-house work, the Senior Center reopening, and other events that took place. Additional suggestions were given from the Committee about additional activity areas the City could look into. 600. REPORTS No Reports were given. PUBLIC INPUT Chairperson Nussbaum opened "Public Input" Mr. Kevin Cannon thanked the committee for their work. Chairperson Nussbaum closed "Public Input".
