WHEREAS, In 1978, the "SCOTTISH-AMERICAN SOCIETY OF CENTRAL FLORIDA" was officially
incorporated to honor and commemorate the best Scottish traditions in the United States; where Scottish Clans and
Societies gather to compete in many kinds of athletic competitions, dancing, and so much more to celebrate the
grand heritage at the Central Florida Scottish Highland Games, sponsored by the "SCOTTISH-AMERICAN
WHEREAS.
OF CENTRAL FLORIDA"; and
IIHEREAS. The Central Florida Scottish Highland Games is the largest Games gathering in the State of Florida;
and the second largest in the Southeastern United States; and
1HEREAS, The 2oi9 Central Florida Scottish Highland Games is now its 4:Z d year, and for many years, the
Central Florida Scottish Highland Games have been held at the world renowned Winter Springs' Central Winds
WHEREAS,
with the average attendance at these Games annually at around twenty thousand thrilled attendees; and
IIHEREAS, The 2oi9-Scottish Highland Games will be held on January t9th and zoth in Winter Springs, Florida;
and the City of Winter Springs is very honored to partner again with the "SCOTTISH-AMERICAN SOCIETY
OF CENTRAL FLORIDA" for their Annual Scottish Highland Games, where we will -
all celebrate everything Scottish. �W,w' #

"SCOTTISH-AMERICAN SOCIETY OF CENTRALFLORIDA", we offer our most heartfelt thanks and
appreciation - to our Winter Springs residents and all other valued guests from near and from far, and to all those that
love all things Scottish, we thank you for being a part of this great event!
