Yes. Generally, all ordinances are required to be read on at least 2 separate days and are required to
be advertised at least 10 days prior to adoption.
The exception to this rule is for ordinances that (1) change the actual list of permitted, conditional, or prohibited
uses within a zoning district, or (2) ordinances initiated by the City that change the zoning designation of land --
these kinds of ordinances require additional advertising Please contact us for further information pertaining to
advertising these kinds of ordinances at any time.
