Subject: Public Records Exemptions
Importance: High
Hello -
I am in receipt of a public records request for utility records through a court subpoena. As such I will need to
provide a copy of the utility bill application. The application has date of birth, driver's license number and
social security number. I am aware that I would need to redact social security number, but is there an exemption
for the date of birth or driver's license number?
In summary:
Do I redact social security number? Yes
Do I redact date of birth? Yes or No?
Do I redact driver's license number? Yes or No?
Thank you.

Subject: RE: Consent for City Commission Meeting 11/26/07
Joan:
The City Code currently requires that vacation of public streets be advertised pursuant to section
336.10, F.S. This section requires public notice 2 weeks prior to public hearing.
So, 2 issues:
1. This is not going to be able to be advertised in time for the November 26 Commission
meeting. It will have to be pushed back to the first meeting in December. Please arrange for an
ad to run at least 2 weeks prior to the December 10 meeting alerting the public that the
Commission will be conducting a public hearing on vacating a portion of the Blumberg Blvd.
ROW. I will provide you the title to the Resolution in a separate email for the ad later today.
2. 1 originally asked for a Consent agenda item -- the statute requires that there be a public
hearing. Please provide me with a public hearing agenda item number for the December 10
meeting and confirm whether I will still use Resolution Number 2007-53.
Thanks,
Please call me if you have any questions.

Michelle:
Social security number should be redacted pursuant to section 119.071(5)(a)5, F.S.
Dates of birth and drivers license numbers are NOT exempt from disclosure under these circumstances.
Please let me know if you require further information.
