If a candidate become unopposed the candidate only needs to file termination report. Notwithstanding the foregoing, section 22, Chapter 2002-17, Laws of Florida, amending section 46, Chapter 2001-40, Laws of Florida provides for the filing of general election reports on the 46th, 32nd, 18th, and 4th days immediately preceding the general election. Based upon the foregoing, we are of the opinion a candidate should file a treasurers report with your office, on or about September 20, October 4, October 18 and November 1, 2002. Ordinarily, post qualifiying, the candidate would only be required to file October 18 and November 1, 2002.
