Although thu Ordinance was passed and effective on July 01, 2000, Florida Power was not notified of the Ordinance until January 2001. The new tax will ` become effective with Fubruary 2001 business. Please verify the following information and quickly notify me in writing that it is correct: 1. Payment: To report and pay over, on or before the twentieth (200) day of each calendar month, all taxes collected during the preceding calendar month. S. Unlawful: To collect the price of any sale of electricity without at the same time collecting the tax levied unless the seller shall elect to assume and pay tax without collecting the tax from the purchaser. 6.
