WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, Mr. Woodrow Wilson Crawford, Jr., better known as Chip Crawford, served 15
years as President of the Central Florida Scottish-American Society; and
WHEREAS, in this role, Chip organized the annual Central Florida Scottish Highland
i
Games, now in its 43rd year; and
WHEREAS,the Scottish Highland Games are one of the premier events held in the City of
Winter Springs, with over 30,000 people in attendance to experience traditional highland
athletics, dance, art, music, culture, and food ; and
WHEREAS, Chip's tireless efforts helped ensure a successful and fun event for Winter
Springs residents and visitors alike for many years; and
WHEREAS, we greatly miss Chip and wish to honor his many years of service.

hereby Proclaim that we recognize the memory of Chip Crawford and offer this Proclamation in
