Reclaimed Water:
Production of reclaimed water for the 2018 calendar year totaled 768,885,000 gallons,
which is a decrease of 3% from 2017. Of this total, 431,719,000 gallons were distributed
for the purpose of commercial and residential irrigation, which is a decrease of 30% from
2017. Also, 337,166,000 gallons were disposed of at the percolation ponds and/or
sprayfields, which is an increase in disposal of 47% from 2017. These trends are due to the
higher rainfall amounts in 2018, which resulted in less irrigation demand and higher
disposal volumes.
