C. Deisler Code Enforcement Division • On August 11, 2017, I received information from Brian Fields (Community Development Director) concerning the construction of a pool at this residence without a permit on file. Based on the lack of permit found in the city databases, a Notice of Code Violation was prepared and sent. It was delivered on August 21, 2017. • I got a call from the owner the same day resulting from the letter and she was referred to Community Development for proper guidance. • On August 24, 2017, the case was inactivated since the owners were working with City Hall to comply with code but I was asked to reactivate the case on November 20, 2017 since cooperation had stopped. Upon return from vacation, I received another email stating a pool permit was pulled on December 26, 2017. The compliance date on the NCV was set at August 31, 2017. • This Code Board hearing notice was prepared and mailed Certified to the owners of the property on November 28, 2017. It was received by on December 6, 2017. The property and City Hall bulletin board were posted also with the hearing notice on December 5, 2017. • Since the property now has a permit for the pool, I am only requesting a finding of fact in this case with no fine imposed and accordingly the property can be brought as a repeat case for reoffending in the future.
