McLaren Code Enforcement Division • December 22, 2017 — Observed a white four door pick up truck with a flatbed /stake body style vehicle in the driveway of the residence. Notice of Code Violation was prepared, posted at residence and mailed certified mail /return receipt requested. • December 28, 2017 — Condition still not corrected and case moved to Code Board status. Code Enforcement Division • December 29, 2017 — Residence and City Hall Posted for Code Board Hearing, on this date when the residence was posted there were two vehicles on property that would be considered commercial vehicles as defined by City Ordinance. • January 3, 2018 — Observed commercial vehicles still parked in the driveway area, as well as a trailer that meets the standards of commercial vehicle parked in the driveway across the sidewalk area. City Citation issued for City Ordinance 17 -1, blocking of sidewalk. Code Enforcement Division • Sidewalk area in front of the driveway is in disrepair due to the continued practice of parking commercial vehicles on property. Public Works notified to respond the remedy the hazard to the area. • January 23, 2018 — Received anonymous complaint that resident over the weekend brought an excavator on a trailer into the driveway area and removed the stakes that were placed by public works. Unable to verify that there was an excavator on property, however, the stakes were missing. ' Code Enforcement Division Recommend that property be found in violation of City Ordinance and be given until February 6, 2018 to come into voluntary compliance. If property does not come into compliance a fine of $250.00 a day be imposed.
