Captain Deisler concluded, "As of this afternoon, when I went by there, the property stands
in essentially the same condition as I noted it on April 17 of this year. I am recommending
that the Respondent be given until July 14 of this year to come into Compliance, and that
one hundred dollars ($100.00) a day be assessed if found in Non - Compliance." Discussion
followed.
Note: The Respondent was not present.
"I MOVE TO FIND THE RESPONDENT IN VIOLATION OF THE CITY CODE
IN ORDER THE RESPONDENT BE GIVEN UNTIL JULY 14TH, 2017 TO
CORRECT THE VIOLATION. IN THE EVENT THE RESPONDENT FAILS TO
COMPLY BY THIS DATE, A FINE IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED
DOLLARS ($100.00) SHALL BE IMPOSED FOR EACH DAY THE VIOLATION
CONTINUES THEREAFTER." MOTION BY BOARD MEMBER GILTZ.
SECONDED BY BOARD MEMBER ROBINSON. DISCUSSION.

City Code: 20- 438.(a) Parking Front Yard Of Residential Lot
Inspector: Code Officer Terri Guerra
Code Officer Guerra presented the Case information and testified, "July 30, 2016 I
observed several vehicles parked all over the front yard of this residence. I sent a Notice
of Code Violation to the owner of the property; I also put a Resident's Guide to Driveway
and Parking Regulations pamphlet inside the Notice.

On November 3, 2016, the Notice of Code Violation was posted at the property. On June
1, 2017, a Notice of Code Board was posted at the property and City Hall. A Certified and
First Class letter was sent to the owner of the property with another parking pamphlet inside
as well."
Photograph from "WS -1" were shown with additional comments.
Code Officer Terri Guerra continued, "There has been no contact from the owner at all. I
recommend the — Board show the property in Violation and impose a Fine of fifty dollars
($50.00) a day if found in Non - Compliance. The owner should be given until July 18,
2017 to comply." Brief comments followed on street parking.

BOARD MEMBER POE. DISCUSSION.
SENIOR CITY ATTORNEY NIX CLARIFIED, "IS IT JUST 20- 438.(a)? BECAUSE
THAT'S WHAT WAS NOTICED." CODE OFFICER GUERRA RESPONDED,
"YES."
