• On June 14, 2017, I noticed this home presenting with
overgrown grass and weeds exceeding the maximum
allowable height per code. Remedial action was taken by
the city to cut the grass, however, the contractor could not
access the back yard.
• During a follow -up on June 23, 2017, I saw a neighbor
outside who spoke to me about the condition of the pool.
She invited me onto her property next door where the
violation could be seen. I noticed the pool to be stagnant
and green.

• The Notice of Code Violation letter was sent certified to
the owner June 19, 2017. It was returned unclaimed. The
NCV was then posted on the property on June 26, 2017.
• The Notice of Code Board hearing was mailed certified to
the owner on July 19, 2017. It was also returned
unclaimed. The property and City Hall bulletin board were
posted with the hearing notice on July 24, 2017.
• No contact has been made with the owner and no work has
been done.

• I recommend the property be found in violation with a
penalty of $250 per day if found in non - compliance.
