• This property was brought before the Code Board in
October 2014 for a violation of the cited ordinance in this
new case. At the time of the original 2014 hearing, the
property was brought into compliance prior to the hearing
date and was assessed a one -time fine for the violation.
• On May 17, 2017, I noticed the property had once again
fallen into a state where numerous articles of junk and
debris had accumulated. Based upon these facts, since the
property was owned by the original violator, and is within
five years of the original case, it is being brought it back as
a repeat violation case.

• The Notice of this Repeat Violation Hearing was mailed
Certified to the owners of the property on May 19, 2017
and delivered June 13, 2017. The property and City Hall
bulletin board were posted with the hearing notice on May
22, 2017.
• I have noticed some progress on the property but there are
still several items of junk stored on the property and in the
back of utility trailers on site. I have had no contact with
the owner.

• As of this afternoon, the property stands in the same
condition and has been in the same state since I observed it
on 5/17/17. Based on the condition of this property, and in
accordance with statutes, I am recommending a $500.00 per
day assessment be filed on this property.
