• Received complaint from Community Development
reference to a pool and deck that was constructed on the
property without a permit and not the proper set back from
the property line.
• March 24 2017- met with resident of 612 Anhinga Road,
whose backyard backs up to this property and she granted
me permission to be on her property for the purposes of
investigating this compliant.
• Observed a deck that was constructed in the yard in
question which rises above the fence line.

• Along with the deck, there is what appears to be the top of
a ladder normally used utilized for above ground pools.
• While conducting my investigation, it was also noticed that
the resident replaced a rear door in an exterior wall around
where it was replaced.
• Notice of Code Violation was prepared and mailed to the
resident via Certified First Class /Return Receipt requested,
signed for by Heather Decosta on March 31, 2017.

Property and City Hall were posted for Code Board
meeting on April 26, 2017 and notices were also sent out
Certified First Class /Return Receipt Requested as well as
First Class mail.
No contact has been made with the resident.

Recommend that resident be found in violation of City
Ordinances and be given until June 8th, 2017 to come into
compliance. In the event they do not come into compliance a
$250.00 a day fine be applied.
