OMM C ME M*YOR -,4t-xrrEg Fnvy"=r in nom WHEREAS, as one of the most outstanding schools in the Seminole County Public School District, Winter Springs High School is under the leadership of Principal, Dr. Mickey Reynolds and Mr. Steven Luppert is their Athletic Director; and an excerpt from the Winter Springs High School Athletic Department's Mission Statement states, "Our staff and student-athletes will exhibit pride, respect, and integrity while representing our athletics department, our school, and our community, and WHEREAS, the Girls Volleyball Team is a valuable member of the Winter Springs High School Athletic Program, and this year have won the titles of FHSAA District Champions, as well as FHSAA Regional Champions; and on Saturday, November 14, 2015,the Winter Springs High School Girls Volleyball Team defeated Jupiter with a 30-2 season score—becoming the FHSAA CLASS 8A STATE VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONS; and in accordance with pride and respect, we wish to recognize the players who are part of this phenomenal STATE CHAMPION TEAM - Payton Caffrey, Bailey Johnson, Kaley Mudge, Paola Oliver, Lizzy Pelletier, Elsa Peterson, Grace WHEREAS,Makenna Sink,Tiana Small,Jenna Smith, Lauren Smith, Savannah Vach, Sydney Vach,Addy Warfield; and IIHEREAS, also important to this impressive winning season are the Coaches, and for their contributions, we wish to acknowledge - Kim Vach, Wendy Warfield, Dr. Cheryl Bowlus,Juno Cruz, and Kevin Code; and , winning and being recognized as State Champions is an incredible accomplishment of which not only is this a personal achievement for every single player on this team, and every single Coach that assisted, but it is a also tribute to this Team, who showed that under any circumstance, they are able to bring the heat and win the championship - GO SEARS!
