'WHEREAS, MARY BROOK.has been a resident of the City of Winter Springs for many years and a resident of
the Tuscawilla community since 1985; and has been a very active member of the Tuscawilla Pioneer Garden Club,
and helped with the Garden Club's "Lumineria" project at Christmas time, helping to keep the Tuscawilla
community that she loves literally shining bright; and
IHEREAS, "�"7 " `' OOK is a Graduate of the National Garden Club Landscape and Design School and the
University of Florida's "Master Gardener" course in addition to being licensed by the State of Florida as a
Residential Contractor; and
M(HEREAS., as a member of the Tuscawilla community, NA A R Y Bp-.00k has always cared about her
neighborhood and has been very involved through her service on the Tuscawilla Lighting and Beautification District
Advisory Committee since her appointment in June of 2006 until her resignation in December of 2015; and
Wli EREAS. MARY BROOK has been more than just a kind, caring, and considerate neighbor as a resident of
Winter Springs, she has been involved with the Police Department's Citizen Advisory Committee, has attended
many City Commission meetings to learn more about her City and to remain informed of area issues, and has offered
complimentary personal gardening advice to neighbors and friends; and
WHEREAS, for those lucky enough to know aARY BROOF. know that great friends and neighbors do not
come along every day,therefore,
