Commissioner Joanne M. Krebs was first sworn into office on December 6, 2004 and is
currently in her last and final year of her third Term of Elected Office and as Conunissioner, has been an
extraordinary member of the City Commission during these years, and has served her City with much care, and a
true commitment to excellence; and
in April 2016, at die annual "Distinguished Service Awards Gala" for the Tri-County League of
Cities, CommissionerJoanne M.Krebs was recognized and awarded die esteemed and highly prestigious"Elected
Official of the Year" award for her dedication and many contributions to the City of Winter Springs, as well as the
Central Florida community including the twenty-two (22) municipalities affiliated with die Tri-County League of
Cities; and
the Florida League of Cities held their Annual Conference in August 2016, and members of Qic
Winter Springs' City Commission nominated Commissioner Joanne M. Krebs for the "E. Hams Drew Official:
Lifetime Achievement Award" in recognition of her countless noteworthy efforts and sincere dedication to the
City of Winter Springs as well as die Central Florida community, die Tri-County League of Cities, die Florida
League of Cities, and the State of Florida; and
it is fitting and proper to officially recognize die admirable performance that Commissioner
Joanne M.Krebs has made, of which have been higlily regarded and will be remembered for years to come.
