• This property was originally observed on June 16, 2016 in
a state of disrepair, as it appeared the business had closed
months prior and the property was left unattended or
abandoned.
• During my inspection, I noticed the machines used for the
old car wash were in a state of disrepair, there were hoses
ripped off the accessories, the wash bays were broken and
seemingly not functional and the overall condition of the
building presented a nuisance to the community.

• Signs and lighting on the property were broken or tattered,
the wooden doors to the dumpster enclosure are in a state
of disrepair, the mailbox and post are barely standing
upright, and many of the concrete islands where vacuum
equipment is stored are broken and unsightly.
• The Notice of Code violation was mailed Certified to the
owners and received on June 21 , 2016. The violations
persisted and the Notice of Code Board hearing was
mailed and received on August 9, 2016.

Since the receipt of the Notice of Code Violation letter, I
have had frequent contact with the representative of the
property owner. There has been extensive work done to
rehabilitate the business and make it operational again.
Painting has started, trash and debris removed, the awning
has been repaired, and trees trimmed or removed as
needed. It is the intent of the owner to get the business
operating again.
