CONSENT 302.Utility Department Scan with your smart device to view electronically REQUEST: Utility DepartmentRequesting Approval to piggyback off of thePalm BeachCounty contract with Allied Universal Corporationfor the purchase of Sodium Hypochlorite (liquid chlorine). FISCAL IMPACT: Annual expenses of $167,000 for the purchase of chlorineare budgeted in the Utility Department chlorine line code 3600-55233.Savings are anticipated to be approximately $15,000 per year. RECOMMENDATION: Based on the previous City Commission direction, the City Attorney and City Manager recommend that the City Commission consider the current City Commission Rules of Procedure, which were last amended by Resolution 2013-29, and determine whether modifications to the Rules of Procedure should be drafted by the City Attorney in the form of a Resolution.Any Resolution would be placed on a subsequent City Commission agenda for final consideration. PUBLIC INPUT (Anyone who wishes to speak during Public Input on any Agenda Item or subject matter will need to fill out a “Public Input” form. In its discretion, the City Commissionmay set aside up to thirty additional minutes at the end of each City Commission meeting for additional public input by anyresident or taxpayer of theCityabout items ofpublic interest.
