FISCAL IMPACT: By approving the contract modifications the City will benefit an additional $450,000 (nominal/over 30 years)in rent for the City's position on the tower (once filled) and an additional $81,000 (nominal/over 30 years)from the rent escalation rateincreases. The City will also benefit by the addition of a radio antennae that will strengthen our emergency communications abilities for a cost of $2,500.With the proposed contract modificationsthe generated revenue over thirty years is approximately $15,300,000.
