Dear Mr. Marbes
Thank you for your interest in the em.
The lift station will undergo a three step process resulting in a liner that is superior over its
competition. After the coating removal and surface preparation is completed we apply a full
cementitious concrete resurfacing coat which provides a smooth monolithic surface. Then a
two part primer is applied that acts as a water tight seal and adhesive basecoat. The finish
a tough, waterproof, monolithic seal that
eliminates corrosion and all inflow/infiltration through the structure
Structural is sprayed at a thickness of 250 mils for this application. This product provides
adhesion to every square inch of the sprayed surface. Once the structure is sealed, it protects
the substrate from 1) corrosion, due to H2S sewer gases, and 2) cracking, due to abrasion,
vibration/ground movement, and expansion / contraction due to changes in temperature.
Scope of Work
1.Surface preparation will begin by sandblasting the entire substrate, removing all
existing coatings or linings and preparing the surface so that it is structurally intact
and free from any corrosion.
2.After sandblasting is completed, the surface area will be power washed, ridding the
substrate of all dust and sand.
3.All sand will be removed from the structure along with other debris.
4.GML
thickness or greater.
5.The structure will be dried using indirect heat.
6. the cleaned substrate from top to bottom
providing maximum adhesion, as well as a water-proofer for the final coating of
.
7. at a 250 mil thickness. This will be
sprayed on all interior concrete surfaces of the structure.
Lift Station #5 East Rehabilitation
This proposal is based on the above described completed project and includes all
mobilization expenses, material, equipment, and labor required to complete the project
Lift Station Rehab and Coating $ 16,560.00
Bypass Pumping (2 pump setups and fuel) $ 12,600.00
Total Project Cost $ 29,160.00
All prep work and coating is included in the above total cost. This shall be a total delivered
cost to the City of Winter Springs, which shall be inclusive of all shipping, handling,
surcharges and all other incidental costs related to the purchase. Work can begin within 60
calendar days upon receipt of a purchase order. GML Coatings will require 6 working days
for the completion of this project.
Terms: All jobs completed within 30 calendar days will be billed immediately after
completion and payment shall be received net 30 days from invoice date. Projects lasting
longer than one month will be billed as progress payments monthly per the work completed
to date. The scope of work is detailed in this document and work will only proceed by means
of a purchase order. No retainage is to be held for this project.
In conclusion, I would like to thank you in advance for considering this project, and I am
sure you will be extremely pleased with both the durability of the liner, and the quality in
which the work is performed. If you have any questions, please contact us at any time.
Sincerely,
Ryan Schwake
