Dear Commissioners,
We have been advised that Mr. Robert L. Lampke is applying for the 2012
interim commissioner seat 3 appointment.
He has been our neighbor and friend for the past 30+ years so during that
time we have gotten to know him and his family very well. Bob is a man of
high character and integrity. He served his Country as a fighter pilot in the
United States Air Force Reserves from which he is now retired. While in
the Reserves, he was also a commercial airline pilot serving for several
years as Captain which further demonstrates his leadership and
organizational skills.
He and his wife, Helen, have been married over 40 years. They are devoted
parents and raised their three boys to be responsible adults. Helen has been
a full time teacher in the Seminole County School System and is now retired
We feel Mr. Lampke is trustworthy and capable of working with the
Commission for the good of the community. He is now fully retired and
looks forward to giving back to the community some of the benefits he has
derived thru his hard work and living in Winter Springs.
We would appreciate it if you would give serious consideration to Mr.
Lampke as a candidate for the interim position.
