This project will require the purchasing of digital cameras and memory cards for all the officers out in the field. Project Summary (Scope of Work) The Digital Cameras will be issued to the Operations Bureau (Patrol, Motors, School Resource, K9 -unit, Bicycle, and the SWAT Scribe). The Cameras will be used to document the following: Simple Burglaries, Battery, Domestic Violence, Chronic Missing /Runaway Children, Alzheimer?s /Special Needs individuals, Baker Acts, Traffic Crashes, Defensive Action Reports (Use of Force), Graffiti / Vandalism, Gang Member(s), Prowlers, Concealed Weapons, Recovered Property that can be returned where a photograph will suffice in court, and Document the Crime Scene before things get moved (before FD arrives for example). They will also be available to assist the other bureaus within the department.
