The maximum amount to be paid is $25,000.00 which is budgeted in FY 10/11. • Should the Senior Center need transportation more than 2 days per week, the cost per hour would be reduced to 3 days - $69.81; 4 days - $60.90; and 5 days - $57.11. • Staff is pleased with the service provided by MV Transportation and believes the 3% increase is reasonable. • MV Transportation has provided a newer and larger bus, a 208 — 22 passenger bus. • Parks and Recreation staff has reviewed the ridership and determined that all users need this service because they have no other means of transportation. • The Senior Transportation Program brought 1,496 Winter Springs seniors to and from the Senior Center for 11 months this FY.
