Authorization REQUEST: The City Manager is requesting the City Commission discuss their Evaluations of the City Manager and also consider the results of the requested 360 Review completed by key Staff, as attached. SYNOPSIS: At the June 14, 2010 Commission Regular meeting, the City Commission agreed to each complete a newly approved Evaluation and then discuss their individual review of the City Manager at an upcoming Workshop. The Commission also asked that key City Staff offer input on the City Manager's performance. CONSIDERATIONS: The City Manager provided the Commission with a proposed Evaluation under Regular Agenda Item 605 for their consideration at the June 14, 20010 Commission meeting, which was the first City Commission Meeting after the 1 year anniversary of appointment as City Manager. Also at the June 14, 2010 City Commission meeting, the City Manager was asked to have key staff members provide the Commission with their comments on his evaluation. During subsequent City Manager staff meetings, the City Manager and Department Heads discussed this request and agreed that a 360 Review could be done by Department Heads and other key Staff (where applicable). Information Services put together an electronic document that key Staff anonymously completed. The results have been tallied and are attached. FISCAL IMPACT: No funding is requested as part of this Agenda Item. COMMUNICATION EFFORTS: This has been distributed to the Mayor and Commission, City Attorney, Department Directors; and provided to all entities through the Clerk's posting process. RECOMMENDATION: The City Manager is requesting the Mayor and City Commission discuss the results of their individual Evaluations of the City Manager and to also consider the attached 360 Review completed by key Staff.
