The tractor requested for purchase is a Massey Ferguson 5435, 4 wheel drive with cab that will be used to till and disc percolation ponds and maintain vegetation at spray fields. The price for the Utility Department tractor is $30,600.00 FUNDING: This equipment purchase was budgeted at $29,000 in the Utility Enterprise Fund, however, there are sufficient funds remaining in this machinery account due to savings from other equipment to cover the additional $1,600. The $30,600 will be charged to the Utility Department Machinery line code (3600-64400). Expenditure of the funds will occur within 90 to 120 days. .'
