Authorization REQUEST: City Manager requesting the Mayor and City Commission appoint Members to the Davis Properties Affordable Housing Due Diligence Committee. PURPOSE: This Agenda Item is needed for the Commission to appoint Members to the Davis Properties Affordable Housing Due Diligence Committee. CONSIDERATIONS: At the June 9, 2003, City Commission Meeting Commissioner McGinnis produced Regular Agenda Item F with the Commission for discussion of involving members of the problem in a due diligence process to determine the suitability of the proposed Davis Properties Affordable Housing Project on State Road 434 adjacent to the Winter Springs Golf Course, At the Meeting the City Commission agreed that each Commissioner and the Mayor would appoint two (2) members to the Committee. It was also noted that the Committee involved business owners along State Road 434, Homeowner Association Members, and other persons the City Commission and Mayor deemed appropriated. FUNDING: Not Applicable. RECOMMENDATIONS: It is recommended that the Mayor and City Commission appoint two (2) Members each to the Committee and establish a date for the visit. ATTACHMENTS: None.
