My husband, Lewis Blumberg, died on Jan. 22, 2003. He and I built our Winter Springs home in 1973, and named it "Tranquility". It has become considerably less tranquil in recent years, but we both appreciated the orderly way the City has developed around us. As his health declined, he was sometimes outspoken and irascible, but he loved Winter Springs. I love it, too, and plan to remain in my home for many, many years. As some of you know, I have been a strong supporter of the Town Center from the start. I believe that growth is ineVitable, and must be managed for the good of the community. Lew would be so gratified that the City of Winter Springs would even consider such a tribute. I hope that you will approve the resolution to honor the memory of a good man and fine citizen of Winter Springs. . . Very truly yours, ~ Juanita D.
