REQUEST:
The City Clerk respectfully requests that Commissioner Sally McGinnis make an
Appointment to the Oak Forest Wall and Beautification District Advisory
Committee.
PURPOSE:
This Appointment is needed to replace a current vacancy on the Oak Forest Wall
and Beautification District Advisory Committee.
CONSIDERATIONS:
Commissioner Sally McGinnis is requested to make an Appointment to the Oak
Forest Wall and Beautification District Advisory Committee to replace Ms.
Debbie Dwyer who was originally appointed to this Committee.
Ms. Dwyer was contacted by the Office of the City Clerk regarding this
Appointment.
Ms. Dwyer has recently sent an email stating that she is unable to actually serve
on this Committee.

This Committee typically meets on the second Thursday of each month, beginning
at 7:00 p.m.
The Term of Service is for three (3) years.
If this Appointment is not made at this Meeting, this matter will be placed on
subsequent Agendas until the vacancy has been filled, or as otherwise suggested
by Commissioner Sally McGinnis.
FUNDING:
None.
RECOMMENDATION:
Commissioner Sally McGinnis is requested to make an Appointment to the Oak
Forest Wall and Beautification District Advisory Committee

Dear Mayor Bush and City Commissioners,
In July I accepted a position on the Oak Forest Wall and Beautification Committee. At the time of appointment I thought I
would be able to devote the time necessary to be an active member of this committee. It became apparent to me shortly
after the school year started that I would not be able to fulfill this obligation. My son has started a wonderful program at
ITMS, and it is necessary for me to help him in his studies to make this school year a success, It is with regret that I must
decline this position at this time, I am however available on a noncommittal basis for any help you may need ad-hoc,
