ATTORNEY-CLIENT SESSION
OCTOBER 9, 2006
CALL TO ORDER
The Attorney-Client Session of Monday, October 9, 2006 of the City Commission was
called to Order by Mayor John F. Bush at 5:31 p.m. in the Commission Chambers of the
Municipal Building (City Hall, 1126 East State Road 434, Winter Springs, Florida
32708).
ATTORNEY-CLIENT SESSION
Pursuant To Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes, The City Attorney Will Be
Seeking The Advice Of The City Commission Regarding Settlement Negotiations
And Strategy Related To Litigation Expenditures Concerning The Pending
Litigation Titled "In and for Seminole County, Florida, Richard Roy and Kathleen
Roy, Plaintiffs, vs. Seville Chase Homeowners Association, Inc.; Florida Power
Corporation; and City of Winter Springs, Defendants" - Circuit Court Of The 18th
Judicial Circuit - Case Number: OS-CA-1700-14-K.
City Attorney Anthony A. Garganese stated, "I need the advice and direction of the
Commission regarding the lawsuit of Roy vs. City of Winter Springs, Florida Power &
Light and Seville Chase Homeowners Association."
Mayor Bush noted that "The persons scheduled to be in attendance are Mayor John F.
Bush, Deputy Mayor Michael S. Blake, Commissioner Robert Miller, Commissioner
Donald A. Gilmore, Commissioner Sally McGinnis, Commissioner Joanne M. Krebs,
City Manager Ron W. McLemore, City Attorney Anthony A. Garganese, and a Court
Reporter. "

Deputy Mayor Michael S. Blake, present
Commissioner Robert S. Miller, absent
Commissioner Donald A. Gilmore, present
Commissioner Sally McGinnis, present

Mayor Bush then recessed this portion of the Attorney-Client Session at approximately,
5:36 p.m.
All parties who were part of the Attorney-Client Session then left the Commission
Chambers.
At the conclusion of the "Closed Session" portion of the Attorney-Client Session held on
Monday, October 9, 2006, Mayor Bush called the Attorney-Client Session back to Order
at approximately 6:48 p.m., in the Commission Chambers of the Municipal Building
(City Hall, 1126 East State Road 434, Winter Springs, Florida 32708).
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Bush adjourned the Attorney-Client Session at 6:48 p.m.
