REQUEST:
City Manager requesting that the City Commission hold an Executive
Session on Monday, June 24, 2002 at 5:30 p.m. to discuss strategies in
regards to Collective Bargaining with the Winter Springs Professional
Firefighters Local 3296.
PURPOSE:
The purpose of this Agenda Item is to request that the City Commission
hold an Executive Session with their Labor Attorney, City Manager, and
Fire Chief regarding Collective Bargaining with the Winter Springs
Professional Firefighters Local 3296.
CONSIDERATIONS:
The Winter Springs Professional Firefighters contract expired September
30,2001.
In preparation for what we hope to be the final negotiating session
scheduled for July 8, 2002 the City Manager and the City's Labor
Attorney would like to have an executive session with the Commission on
Monday, June 24, 2002 at 5:30p.m to discuss strategies related to
finalization of the 2001 contract.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is recommended that our City Commission hold an Executive Session
on Monday, June 24, 2002 at 5:30 p.m.
