REQUEST: Commissioner Blake requesting the City Commission discuss the
idea of a joint meeting between the cities of Oviedo and Winter Springs to discuss the
possible location of a hospital in the Oviedo Winter Springs area.
PURPOSE: The purpose of this agenda item is to detem1ine if the City of Winter Springs
would like to work with Oviedo in locating a full service hospital in our area.
CONSIDERA TION: As stated above.
FUNDING: Not applicable.
RECOMM.ENDA TION: It is recommended that the Commission discuss the idea of the two
cities meeting to attract a full service hospital to our area.
