Our rules require is to be a member of the majority to revisit an issue, and I would like
to being this up for reconsideration this evening.
Unfortunately, it looks like I will not be there tonight (perhaps you could abounce the
reason for my absence at the beginning of the meeting so people will know that I am not
ducking issues?) Gilmore or miller could bring it back, but if they do not, please do so
under my seat.
I would appreciate the commission passing a motion to provide $5,000 funding for this
project.
The key factor in my request is that this is not a charitable contribution, but
represents the city's fair share of an important service being provided county wide that
also brings many social benefits to winter springs citizens.

Mayor Bush mentioned a Leadership Seminole class project related to the City contributing
to the Seminole Children's Village.
"I MOVE THAT WE SUPPORT FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5,000.00) - OUT OF THE GENERAL FUND TO
SUPPORT THE CHILDREN'S - VILLAGE APARTMENTS." MOTION BY COMMISSIONER McGINNIS. SECONDED.
DISCUSSION.
Commissioner Miller suggested a Policy for similar requests for charitable contributions.
