REQUEST:
The City Manager requests that the City Commission consider either
Reappointing Mr. Donald Gilmore to serve as the Representative to the South
Seminole & North Orange County Wastewater Transmission Authority or to
reappoint another individual. Additionally, the City Commission is requested to
consider either Reappointing Mr. Roy Prince as the Alternate to the South
Seminole & North Orange County Wastewater Transmission Authority or to
reappoint another individual.
PURPOSE:
The South Seminole & North Orange County Wastewater Transmission Authority
has requested that the City of Winter Springs consider Appointments/
Reappointments to this committee.
CONSIDERA TIONS:
Correspondence from the South Seminole & North Orange County Wastewater
Transmission Authority is requesting that the City of Winter Springs consider the
following:

· Mr. Donald Gilmore has currently been serving in the capacity of
Representative to the South Seminole & North Orange County Wastewater
Transmission Authority. At this time, the City Commission should consider
whether Mr. Gilmore should be reappointed, or whether another individual
should serve on this committee.
· Mr. Roy Prince has been serving as the Alternate to the South Seminole &
North Orange County Wastewater Transmission Authority, The City
Commission is being requesting to consider whether Mr. Prince should be
reappointed, or whether another individual should serve as the Alternate.
FUNDING:
None.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Commission make an appointment to the South
Seminole & North Orange County Wastewater Transmission Authority.
ATTACHMENT:
A. A copy of a letter from Mr. Stephen F. Miller, Executive Director of the South
Seminole & North Orange County Wastewater Transmission Authority.

Legislation, the four (4) year tenns of office for Donald Gilmore, Authority Board Member, and Roy Prince,
Alternate Member, appointed by the City of Winter Springs, expire September 30, 200 I.
