REQUEST:
The City Clerk requests that Commissioner Michael S. Blake make an
Appointment to the Planning And Zoning Board/Local Planning Agency to
replace Board Member Brent Gregory who is resigning.
PURPOSE:
Commissioner Michael S. Blake is requested to make an appointment to fill an
upcoming vacancy on the Planning And Zoning Board/Local Planning Agency, as
a result of a resignation.
CONSIDERATIONS:
· This same Item was listed as Regular Agenda Item "H" on the September 1 0,
2001 City Commission Regular Meeting Agenda, however, Commissioner
Blake asked that this be brought back at the next Meeting.
· Board Member Brent Gregory submitted a letter of resignation dated August
4,2001.
. The vacancy is to be filled by Commissioner Michael S. Blake,

Dear Commissioner Blake:
It is with regret that I must resign from my appointed position on the P&Z Board effective
September 15,2001 due to increased work responsibilities with my business, I look forward
to completing work on review of Comprehensive Plan section drafts over the next month
prior to leaving the board. I certainly appreciate having had the'opportunity to serve the
Commission and the City in this capacity and look forward to the further opportunity of
being associated with you in the future,
